Terms of Service for JustWrightTrades.com (JWT Tradez)

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before accessing or using https://justwrighttrades.com (the “Site”) or any services, tools, content, or features offered by JWT Tradez (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

JWT Tradez is an online trading education platform (“the definitive trading university with a live trading lab”) that provides:

  • Structured, bite-sized educational lessons and materials on trading strategies and concepts.
  • A Live Trading Lab that allows users to validate strategies using a real Python Backtrader engine for backtesting.
  • Performance analytics and progress tracking tools.
  • Curated, actionable market news delivered within the platform.

Important Disclaimers
The Service is provided solely for educational and informational purposes. Nothing on the Site or within the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal, or other professional advice. We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner.

Trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Past performance (including backtested results) is not indicative of future results. Backtesting has inherent limitations, including data quality issues, curve-fitting/overfitting, and the fact that simulated performance does not account for all real-world factors such as slippage, commissions, market impact, liquidity, or psychological factors. You are solely responsible for any trading or investment decisions you make. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making any investment decisions.

2. Acceptance of Terms; Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the revised Terms on the Site and update the “Effective Date.” Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review the Terms periodically.

3. Eligibility and User Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the full legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • Maintain and update your account information.
  • Keep your password confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.

  • Share, sell, rent, or sublicense your account or any content.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise access the source code of the Service (including the Backtrader integration).

  • Upload or transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone else’s use of the Service.

We may monitor use of the Service and remove or refuse content that violates these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, tools, code, designs, logos, and materials on the Service (including lessons, analytics dashboards, and the Backtrader implementation) are owned by Just Wright Trades / JWT Tradez or its licensors and are protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial educational use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or commercially exploit any portion of the Service without our prior written consent.

6. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy (or the link we will provide once published), which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, data feeds, or services (including market data providers). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party sites. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and them.

8. Disclaimers and Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

Backtested or simulated results are for illustrative purposes only and do not guarantee future performance. Market data and news are obtained from third-party sources; we do not guarantee their accuracy or timeliness.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JWT TRADEZ, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (OR $100 IF YOU HAVE NOT MADE ANY PAYMENTS).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JWT Tradez and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification) will survive termination.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

Binding Arbitration Option (at our sole discretion): We may elect to resolve any dispute through final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association in Dallas, Texas.

13. Miscellaneous

  • These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us.
  • If any provision is held invalid, the remainder shall continue in full force.
  • Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.
  • We may assign these Terms without restriction; you may not assign without our consent.
